Charleston People's Climate Parade

When: Sat., April 29, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. 2017

Enough Pie’s month-long arts festival, Awakening V: King Tide, kicks off this Saturday with a climate parade in solidarity with the People’s Climate March on Washington. The parade starts at the Royal American and ends at St. Julian Devine Center with giant puppets leading the way. Creative and festive costumes are encouraged; there will even be a sign-making station at 9 a.m. Awakening V and the climate march want to shine a light on rising waters and flooding streets through demonstrations, creative events, and public art.
