Charleston RiverDogs vs. Rome Braves

When: Fri., July 4, 6:35 p.m., Sat., July 5, 6:05 p.m. and Sun., July 6, 5:05 p.m. 2014

Nothing says ’Merica like hotdogs, beers, and baseball, so it’s only fitting that the RiverDogs take on the Rome Braves this Fourth of July. And the good ol’ U.S. of A may be the home of the brave, but just this once we won’t be cheering for the Braves. “The Joe will be the perfect place to celebrate our military and country with some good, American fun,” says RiverDogs rep Joey Cain. And even if you’re not into baseball, there’ll be a firework display after the game. We have a feeling they’ll up their usual Friday fireworks for the holiday. The RiverDogs will also keep with their usual Red Shirt Friday promotion, where the players wear red jerseys in honor of the military. All attendees who wear red shirts have the option of getting a dollar off their ticket or donating it to Canines for Veterans.
