Christmas Eve Dinner

Waiting for Santa can be excruciating, and here at the City Paper, we like to pass our time with eating and drinking. Thankfully, Craftsmen Kitchen and Tap House is on the same page, and on Christmas Eve the eatery will serve a six-course meal with 12 beer pairings — two 4-oz. brews per course. “We’re calling it the 12 beers of Christmas,” Chef Todd Garrigan says. Garrigan will create a meal that represents European holiday fare but will be paired with American craft beer. The menu includes chicken liver mousse, salted cod, roast quail, oyster stew, 45-day aged beef, and a spiced pecan pie. And for those who don’t want to imbibe, you can partake in just the eats for $35. Reservations are required.
