Civic Action Exhibit

When: Thu., June 25, 5:30-8 p.m. 2009

The Civic Action Exhibit is a showcase of local grassroots organizations and the work they are doing to improve Charleston. It allows people to see and understand the different type of work that local citizen groups are doing of their own initiative to improve the city. Eleven different organizations developed a showcase piece and will present a short five-minute presentation around the following question: “What is the most promising opportunity to improve our community, and what action will your organization take to make a difference?” The graphic presentation consists of individual boards designed by each of the eleven different organizations. Following the opening, the exhibition will be on view through August 7.
