You haven’t lived a full life until you’ve experienced a circus under the big top. The smell of hay, popcorn everywhere, and screaming babies brings me back to a time where I sat with my grandparents marveling at the craziness that was happening in front of me. I hate to sound old, but kids these days are jaded, as special effects on TV and in movies have made them apathetic to the sight of real daredevils. Those character flaws can be fixed by taking the kids to the Cole Bros. Circus of the Stars. Watch as some wacky guy decides it’s a great idea to play with a tiger, Guatemalan trapeze artists fly gracefully through the air, a group of three motorcyclists ride together in a giant iron globe, and one young man has the most epic exit ever when he shoots himself out of a freaking cannon. But you’ll have to tolerate the clowns, who I’m not ashamed to say creep me out.
