Mt. Pleasant Performing Arts Company will present one of the greatest comic ballets of the 19th century, Coppelia. Perfect for the whole family, this timeless tale is about a young couple in love and their battle between idealism and realism. Coppelia, a life-size doll, was created so lifelike that a village boy, Franze, falls in love with her. The boy’s fiancé, Swanhilda, impersonates the doll in order to win back his affection, ultimately saving him from an untimely end at the hands of the doll’s inventor.
