Cowboy Mouth w/ Ryan Bonner & The Dearly Beloved

When: Fri., June 18 2010

High-energy rock ’n’ roll party band Cowboy Mouth can’t stay away from Charleston for long. Led by wild-eyed singing drummer Fred LeBlanc, the Louisiana-based combo last rocked the town with a Windjammer gig during their Rock ’n’ Roll Mardi Gras Tour over the winter (with support from Junior Brown). LeBlanc and his gang — guitarist John Thomas Griffith, bassist Regina Zemay, and guitarist Jonathan Pretus — return this weekend for a three-night stint. They’ll be armed with cool merch — a new live DVD shot at the Roxy Theatre in L.A. titled The Name of the Band is Cowboy Mouth and a 12-song collection of rockers and anthems titled Fearless. Local roots-rock band Ryan Bonner & The Dearly Beloved open the show on Friday. Country-pop singer/guitarist Eddie Bush opens on Saturday. Sunday’s set is an early evening show after the Bud Light Lime Bikini Contest. —T. Ballard Lesemann
