Procrastinating poets and slow story-tellers, you're in luck. College of Charleston's esteemed literary magazine Crazyhorse has extended its deadline for both the Lynda Hull Memorial Poetry Prize and the Crazyhorse Fiction Prize. The deadline is now Jan. 15, 2010. The competition is open to all, and applicants can enter via snail mail or by uploading their manuscript to the website at crazyhorsejournal.org.

Each manuscript entered should consist of up to 25 pages of fiction or up to three poems (up to 10 pages total of poetry). For each manuscript entered, include a reading fee of $16, which includes a one-year/two-issue subscription to Crazyhorse. The winners will receive $2000 and will be published in the Fall 2010 issue. E-mail crazyhorse@cofc.edu for more information.
