When: Sat., April 12, 4 p.m.-12 a.m. 2014
If you were lucky enough to attend some of Dig South’s events, then you’ve coded, paneled, and techified your way through four days to deserve a party. And even if you weren’t, well, in the eternal words of Wayne’s World, “party on.” Culturama is that party. Emceed by Mr. Paul Roof — from the Holy City Beard and Moustache Society as well as associate professor of sociology at Charleston Southern University — the party combines live music with Digatholon, a bar game adventure. Nashville’s Natural Child will perform alongside Logan Venderlic and Honeysmoke, while party-goers compete in an array of bar games in the winner-takes all contest. “Silly, fun, and designed to build friendships and collaborations, the Digatholon includes 10 teams doing epic battle in 10 games: Kingpin, Hoopster, Game On, Hipster Javelin, Geek/Freak Chic, Dig Skeeter, Karaoke-Doke, Drop Zone, Buck Off, and Hot Box,” says Stanfield Grey, founder of Dig South. Oh and when we say winner takes all, that’s all of the beer in the Dig South Golden Keg.
Price: $10/adv. for concert, $15/day of concert, free/to party
