David Liebe Hart

When: Sat., April 16, 8 p.m. 2011

If you’ve ever seen an episode Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job!, then you know what a live performance from David Liebe Hart is going to look like. Doesn’t matter if Hart wasn’t even in the particular Tim and Eric episode you saw. If you’ve ever wanted to see the live version of the awkward and surreal video art you’ll find on the Adult Swim show, stop by the Tin Roof this weekend. Hart has a public access show in Los Angeles called The Junior Christian Science Bible Lesson Program, so that should give you a good idea of what his show will be like. He usually performs with puppets shaped like people, pandas, and puppies. He also thinks he was abducted by aliens. His act’s funny. It’s weird. It’ll be great to watch after a couple of beers. He’ll appear with local shoegazy band Alswel and Charleston Comedy Festival Stand-Up Competition winner Phillip Cohen.

Price: $5/advance, $8/door
