Fresh off of their month-long European tour, California -based rock band The Deftones are headed to Charleston. The group's headline tour in support of their sixth and most recent album, Diamond Eyes (Reprise), begins in early August and continues through mid September, before they kick off the BlackDiamondSkye tour with Alice in Chains and Mastodon.
One dollar from each ticket sold during the tour will be donated to the Chi Ling Cheng Special Needs Trust, a foundation created in support of the group's original bassist.
The group lands in Charleston on Sept. 5 (the gig was originally scheduled at The Dive in Goose Creek; the show has since been moved to the Music Farm). Tickets are available for $40 in advance and $45 the day of show.
