PBR’s newest music festival, Dirty Southeast, kicks off this weekend with performances at The Sparrow and Chico Feo. This is Charleston’s first PBR-sponsored rock music fest and the beer company has recruited both national and local bands for two weekends of punk, metal, bluegrass, and rockabilly music. Head to the Sparrow on Fri. Mar. 4 for performances from Guttermouth, The Cryptics, Fujiwara, and Hot Charlie. Tickets are $12 and DJ Tuff girl will spin tunes between sets. On Fri. Mar. 5 Chico Feo hosts the Screaming J’s, a self-proclaimed acoustic piano boogie woogie rag and roll trio hailing from Asheville, N.C. If you like what you hear at these shows then make sure to drop your PBR tabs in your favorite band’s bucket. The band with the most tabs will win a PBR tour package.
