Dusty Slay w/ Evan Berke and Hannah Hogan

When: Sun., Aug. 28, 7 p.m. 2016

Former Charleston residents Dusty Slay and Evan Berke are back for an evening of stand-up comedy at Woolfe Street Playhouse. The show will be hosted by local comedian Jason Groce, with Slay headlining, and additional performances from Berke and Hannah Hogan, an actress, stand-up comic, and writer. Slay, who currently lives in Nashville, Tenn., was a two-time recipient of City Paper’s Best of Charleston Best Local Comic award, as well as a two-time winner of the Charleston Standup Comedy Competition. Slay says that his comedy gets better every day, something he’s been claiming for years now. In a 2014 CP interview he said, “Each time you see me it should be better than the last. My plan is to hate every video I put out, because I know I’m better than that now.”
