Empty Bowls

When: Fri., Feb. 19, 6-8 p.m. 2016

The arts and culinary world collide in the one-of-a-kind charity event, Empty Bowls, hosted by cone10studios, with proceeds benefiting One-Eighty Place. Guests can enjoy soup from Short Grain food truck owner Shuai Wang and Celia Cerasoli of catering company Celia’s. Attendees even get to take home their soup bowls which have been hand-crafted by cone10 studio artists. One-Eighty Place provides community kitchens, veteran services, healthcare, legal services, and education for Charleston’s homeless population. The purpose of this event is perhaps best expressed by cone10’s owner Fiorenzo Berardozzi who says, “[We do this] for the health of the community. When we stop giving, that’s when we get problems.”
