Following their month-long French film series, Eye Level Art: 103 turns to Italy with the feature film La Dolce Vita (The Sweet Life), on Tues. Oct. 13. It's the story Marcello, a journalist in Rome during the 1950s. Unsatisfied with his mediocre life and possessive live-in girlfriend, Marcello falls in with the glamorous upper crust of Italian society. The movie helped coin the term "paparazzi." Sugar Bake Shop will be selling goodies, and beer and wine will be available for purchase, or you can bring your own bottle of beer or wine for a $5 corking fee. The gallery will be open at 7:30 p.m., and the movie will start as soon as it gets dark outside. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door.
