Fall Design Walk

When: Thu., Oct. 21, 5-8 p.m. 2010

From sofas to stationary, cocktails to cookies, the Upper King Design District will once again welcome in walkers on an autumn evening from 5 to 8 p.m. For the Fall Design Walk, the shops will stay open a little later and offer treats to wandering eyes. Make sure to stop by some of the strip’s newest businesses, including ADAM (a men’s consignment shop), Michael Mitchell Gallery, MyPhoneMD (an iPhone repair service shop), and Princess of Tides (an accessories boutique for women and children). And don’t forget to visit your old favorites, like Lesesne, Blue Bicycle Books, or SieMatic. Mayor Joe Riley will officially open the night, and parking is available at the Visitor Center Garage (Ann Street between King and Meeting) for a $2 flat rate. —Susan Cohen
