An evening celebrating Charleston’s vintage fashion is upon us, and you’d better not show up looking anything less than fresh. The Charleston Rifle Club is hosting a vintage-inspired fashion show at their bowling alley, and the proceeds will benefit Girls Rock Charleston, a summer day camp where girls can learn an instrument and get empowered. Designers featured in the show include Rhett Boyd Vintage Collection, Textured Vintage by Kendal Leonard Designs, Groove Girl Vintage, Jess James’ Style Girl Collection, and Jlinsnider Vintage, among others. “This is the first ever Fashion Alley Vintage Fashion Show, so we are super excited because this is the first fashion show to be held in a bowling alley in Charleston,” says event organizer Kristen Armstrong. “There will be seven runway shows all featuring models from Robin Lee Models, food vendors, and more.” Be sure to come dressed in your own vintage clothing, because there will be guest judges roaming the event, handing out prizes to the best female look and the best male look of the night. And don’t be afraid to stay after the show, because there will be open bowling from 9 p.m. to midnight — first come, first served.
