The Mount Pleasant Pier hosts its annual Father’s Day fishing seminar this Sunday. Fathers and their families are invited to come and fish under the shade of the Arthur J. Ravenel Bridge while learning some new angling techniques from a local fishing expert. Fishers can expect to catch the kind of sea life that like to swim around pier pilings, which include red drum, spotted sea trout, flounder, and sheepshead. If fishing doesn’t wear out dad, keep the fun going with a session at Wild Blue Ropes, where dads climb for free all day. And if all this talk is making you hungry, make sure to check out our cuisine calendar for all the Father’s Day brunches around town.
