Flight Patterns by Karen White

When: Sat., June 4, 12 p.m. 2016

New York Times bestselling author Karen White will talk about and sign copies of her newly released book, Flight Patterns, at Halls Chophouse as part of the Blue Bicycle Books Charleston Author Series. Mixing mystery, romance, and history, Flight Patterns is the story of fine China expert Georgia Chambers, a woman returning home to her family in coastal Florida after 10 years. White has a particular fondness for the Lowcountry, and bases many of her books in the Charleston area, so it’s no surprise that the Holy City is a stop on her tour. “It was just like coming home to me, it was the weirdest thing,” White said in a 2010 interview of her first trip to the Lowcountry. “I remember standing on a dock, looking over the marsh at sunset, and I remember thinking this is the most beautiful place on earth.”
