Broadway's greatest legends meet Broadway's greatest satirist in a hilarious and loving tribute. Part of Piccolo Spoleto Festival.

There's this thing called the Great White Way
Even if you haven't seen Annie 100 times, you'll get the joke about child stars struggling once they grow up. And the other victims (Rent, Wicked, etc.) are familiar enough in pop culture that you're able to get a few chuckles out of the good-natured ribbing they receive.

An evolving classic
The original Forbidden Broadway has been mocking the pinnacle of musical theater for decades. In the earlier years, it was jokes about Fiddler on the Roof and Angela Lansbury. These days, modern hits like Hairspray and Spamalot get roasted.

No Rust on This Ship
Forbidden Broadway will be performed by Columbia's Workshop Theatre of South Carolina.
