MONDAY. Get out you stompin’ boots. Jackass Flats, an acoustic/Americana band, takes over the Pour House stage for a free set beginning at 9 p.m. View a different perspective of the world through the eyes of Dutch photographer Mirjam Evers. She holds a presentation with her photography on display at the Second Monday Night Lecture Series from 7-9 p.m.

TUESDAY. Home Team BBQ on Sullivan’s welcomes Charlie Sayles & His Blues Disciples from Washington, D.C. The tunes begin at 9 p.m. Learn how you can better your future by attending a free Medicaid and Estate Planning Seminar held by attorney Dennis J. Christensen. Veterans can learn about educational benefits for themselves and their families at an informational session held at Trident Technical College at 6 p.m. Are you single and over the age of 34? Meet other singles and enjoy a night of shag dancing at Buddy Roe’s Shrimp Shack from 6-8 p.m. The 3 Dudes, a modern alternative rock band of three young brothers, perform a free show at the Windjammer beginning at 9 p.m.

WEDNESDAY. Join the Nosh Mob and attend our next meeting of Italian wine tasting and food discussions from 5:30-7 p.m. This week, the Starlight Cinema Summer Series continues with Monsters vs. Aliens. The battle begins at 9 p.m. at Freshfields Village. 

THURSDAY. Sea Kayak Carolina holds a sea kayaking meet-up group social and movie night. Reservations are requested for this free adventure beginning at 6 p.m. Head over to Towne Centre for Music on the Terrace, held in front of the Belk Store, where you will find live music, giveaways, mini-fashion shows, and more. Books-A-Million hosts author Rene’ Syler, former co-anchor on The Early Show, for a book signing to promote her new best-sellier at 7 p.m.

FRIDAY. The Living Art Show gives attendees an opportunity to explore the cosmetology world with Fix Salon Studio from 6-9 p.m. Enjoy ice cream sundaes and live music by the River City Dixieland Jazz Band at Main Street U.S.A held at Trident Technical College.

SATURDAY. Waldenbooks welcomes Margaret Baroody for a book signing of The Unexpected Visitor from 6-8 p.m. Charleston Cooks and Thermador will hold an open house from 2-5 p.m. Stop by for food demonstrations, wine tasting, and samples of local food companies. Find live music from Mike Thompson along with his full band at the re-opening celebration of The Break Room beginning at 8 p.m.

SUNDAY. The Sunday Shaggin’ Party continues at Foster’s Pub from 5-8 p.m. Dance the night away to beach and oldies music with host Jim Bowers.
