Want an excuse to dress up like a wizard and marathon Harry Potter movies? Well, Itinerant Literate Books is giving you one this Sunday. In honor of the release of the script book for The Cursed Child, J.K. Rowling’s new play in the Harry Potter series, Itinerant Literate is organizing an all-day movie-watching, costume-wearing, butterbeer-drinking event at The Brew Cellar. “So many people have great memories of going to Harry Potter release parties,” say owners Julia Turner and Christen Thompson. “We’re thrilled to be recreating that experience for one night.” Their goal is make The Brew Cellar feel like The Three Broomsticks, the popular Hogsmeade pub from the series. The movies will play all day while fans eat HP-themed snacks, play trivia for prizes, and wait for the script book to be released at midnight. You can pre-order a copy on the Itinerant Literate website or purchase one at the event while supplies last. The event is family friendly and includes a costume contest — see you there, muggles.
