When: Sat., Nov. 2, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. 2013
Get ye to Mullet Hall for the Harvest Festival and give thanks to the traditional Southern autumnal season with bluegrass and bites. To think, we can gorge ourselves without ever plowing a field. Festival and event manager Matt Rosebrock says, “The atmosphere is very laid back, and you can tell everyone attending is really enjoying themselves. As far as festivals go, I truly believe that the Harvest Festival is one of Charleston’s hidden gems.” This is an event for the whole family, so there will be plenty of activities for the kids including hayrides and pumpkin decorating along with food vendors like Carolina Bay Seafood, Mike’s Boiled Peanuts, and King of Pops. Once you’re done stuffing yourself full of barbecue and boiled peanuts, you can head over to the craft and farmers market to shop off some of those calories.
Price: $8, free/Gold Pass members and children under 13
