Also scheduled to appear are the 7 Nightingales Center, Charleston Counseling Center, art therapist Dianne Tennyson, Windwood Farm, BodyWorks, equine therapy program LEAP, Bonnie Compton of Parenting Partners, eating disorder specialist Mary Sheahan Krainin, LISW-CP, registered dietician Courtney Armstrong of Simply Nutrition, Alateen, and Al-Anon.
The Oct. 27 fair is free for the public and will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Practice Place, 207 Simmons St. in Mt. Pleasant. Lunchtime refreshments will be provided.
“We are bringing together the best programs and providers in Charleston,” said Matenaer of the event that looks to bring a collaborative approach to addressing the full range of issues faced by teens. “We want this to be a one-stop shop for parents and caregivers looking for ways to help their teens through those challenging adolescent years.”
