Forget the Masters — the real big news this weekend is the return of Game of Thrones, now back for its eighth and final season.

Is your bar or restaurant showing the premiere this weekend? Drop us a line at connelly@charlestoncitypaper.com.

Keep it lowkey at the Johns Island Regional Library tonight, Fri. April 12 from 6-8 p.m. This adults-only event features snacks, board games, and an escape room. Call (843) 559-1945 to register.

Brunch is coming: Start your day with a GoT themed brunch with Rebel Taqueria at Workshop starting at 10 a.m.

Bay Street Biergarten goes all out with a watch party series (a series we say!) starting this Sun. April 14 at 9 p.m. Each watch party through May 20 features free popcorn and a pool for each episode where attendees guess who will survive until the end of each episode and win door prizes.

After one episode you'll probably be foaming for more GoT fun; head to Fam's Brewing Co. next Wed. April 17 for Game of Thrones trivia at 8 p.m. and the release of a new beer, Bend the Knee, made with dragon's breath.

The Brick, Republic, and Silver Dollar host a Crawl of Thrones Bar Crawl on Sat. April 17 from 3-11 p.m. Check in at the Brick and then crawl along King Street where you can snag drink specials like $4 Tito's, $3 Bud Light, and more.
