Presented by the Colour of Festival Chamber Music Series, Atlanta-based African-American chamber trio, KAJ Trio, will present a special concert honoring Juneteenth, the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States dates back to 1865, when on June 19 Union soldiers, led by Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the War had ended and the enslaved were now free.
