Mitchell Colgan presents his talk, “Climate Change in the Arctic and What it Means to Charleston.” Temperature in the Arctic is expected to increase 14° in the 21st century. Charleston is among the most vulnerable areas to rising seas and a changing climate, which may threaten nearly $150 billion of infrastructure along the coast. Professor Colgan will discuss what scientists believe is in store for the lowcountry in the coming decades.
