Living History Fundraiser

When: Sat., June 3, 6-9 p.m. 2017

The Summerville-Dorchester Museum and Flowertown Players come together to present The Living History Event and Fundraiser. Living history is no misnomer; this event features Lowcountry actors portraying notable and historical Summerville figures. Some of those figures include philanthropist Kitty Springs, played by Myra Jones and Charleston Tea Plantation founder, Charles Shepard, played by Robert Venne. You can also expect appearances from local comedian Dewshawn Mason and actress Susan Lovell, who most recently performed in Flowertown’s production of Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean. In addition to the performance, attendees can enjoy food, beer, and wine from Homegrown Brewhouse and Accent on Wine.
