One of King Street’s best local boutiques isn’t so easy to spot from the sidewalk. To get to Novel., you’ll have to climb a set of stairs near Cynthia Rowley, but once you do, you’ll be treated to a bright spot filled with vintage clothing, accessories, and more. The store is hosting a special event this weekend called Living Vintage, which brings together the goods of Lauren Lail (owner of Library Vintage, seen above) and Angie Hranowsky, who collects interior design elements and textiles. The showroom will be curated to reflect vintage vignettes with hand-picked goods, and classic cocktails will be served. “We have a similar aesthetic and we both love vintage, whether its fashion or interiors, so it only made sense for us to pair up to showcase our collections and create a unique shopping experience based on vintage style and design,” the women say.
