Our favorite part of the boot-scootin’ boogie is the boogie part. And the Lowcountry Hoedown wants your bluegrass booty shaking as it returns on Saturday night with moonshine, bourbon, and food vendors. The Barefoot Movement and Seven Handle Circus provide the bluegrass tunes, but what else is there besides music, meat, and moonshine? Hilary Johnson, a Gusto Group coordinator for the event says, “The attitude and energy of the guests can turn an event from ho-hum into the spectacular. We’re fortunate that the Hoedown brings out the best in people. The crowd was so energetic and high-spirited last year so we can’t wait to welcome them back for the second annual event.” And if that isn’t enough to persuade you to party with the rest of us, the Lowcountry Hoedown benefits Pet Helpers — puppies FTW.
