Who in the south doesn’t love some shellfish? Slurp down some delicious oysters at the self-proclaimed largest oyster festival in the world that has been named one of the top 20 events in the Southeast Tourism Society. Guests can shuck oysters or try and eat as many as they can in an oyster eating contest all while live entertainment performs. If the oysters get too much, enjoy wine and craft beer to wash it down or head to the Food Court for a change of palate at local restaurant favorites. Children can get in on the fun too with a free children’s area.
