Local singer/songwriter Luke Cunningham (the former frontman with Part Time Heroes) has stepped into a more cinematic role.
Cunningham spent last fall writing the soundtrack for an indie film titled Blood, Sweat and Beers (from the production team at Partners in Motion). It's a documentary that follows the lives of the Bentley Generals, a small-town Canadian hockey team that shocked hockey fans last year by winning the prestigious Allen Cup.
The Terrace is screening the film this evening (Tues. April 20).
Cunningham's current band Kentucky Shine — featuring bassist Brent Pace and drummer Bob Hack — recorded a stack of newly written material to the original soundtrack.
