This year’s 34th annual MOJA Arts Festival, a celebration of African-American and Caribbean Arts, kicks off Thurs. Sept 28 with an evening street parade. The annual march through downtown Charleston is always a colorful affair; expect lively performances, bright costumes, the rollicking sounds of the marching band, along with youth ensembles, community groups, and entertainers. The parade begins at Marion Square, heads down King St., turns onto Market, and ends at the US Custom House.
