Movies in Marion Square: Big Hero 6

When: Fri., May 1, 6 p.m. 2015

If you thought last week’s movie was good (and come on, Clueless was awesome), get ready for even more family-friendly fun this Friday. Because, yeah, last week’s movie might have had some slightly inappropriate topics, like pseudo-incest. Yeah! Fear not, this week is all about the good feels — for kids and adults. Big Hero 6 is an animated film that tells the story of Hiro Hamada, a teenage robotics genius who bands together with five of his friends to save their city, San Fransokyo (a combo of, well, San Fran and Tokyo). A modern take on the superhero genre, this film has the standard Disney humor that entertains both the young and old. Expect to see the usual lineup of food trucks, like Kickin’ Chicken and Roti Rolls.
