This month, the craft beer dinner series will feature four beers and pairings by Chef Eva Keilty. Featuring a variety of imported and domestic ales and lagers paired with four ample courses. A radish salad with star anise, juniper, gravlax (cured salmon), grapes, and chervil kicks things off with Bohemian Brewery’s crisp Czech Pilsner. Aa Duck Confit L’Orange hash with ginger and Szechuan flapjacks comes alongside Thirsty Dog Brewing Co.’s Cerberus Belgian Style Trippel Ale (a strong golden ale). Samosas with well-marbled black hog pork, spices, cherries, and pine nuts comes next with a side of braised Moroccan kale and lentil salad will be paired with French Broad Brewing’s Wee-Heavy-Er Scotch Ale (strong, malty dark ale). The final course is a sweet double-shot of Southern Tier’s black and malty Imperial Choklat Stout with a spicy peanut butter mousse and chocolate torte with caramelized bananas and espresso butterscotch.
