Olde North Charleston Village Street Sale

When: Sat., May 22, 8 a.m.-12 p.m. 2010

You can find all sorts of little bobbles that people are willing to part with at places like garage sales, thrift stores, and street sales. And this weekend, you won’t have to drive all over town to find that unique item. A cornucopia of stuff will be up for grabs in one convenient location when the Olde North Charleston Neighborhood Council and the Olde Village Merchants Association sponsors the Second Annual Village Street Sale. Families can find great deals on secondhand clothing for their rapidly growing children. Homeowners and apartment dwellers can snag cheap furniture to fill in empty spaces. And just about everything else will be there, from kitchen utensils to CDs to toys and more. Park Circle shops will also be open to provide visitors with food and beverages. All proceeds made from the space and table rentals (paid for by the vendors) will benefit the North Charleston High School Band Booster Club. —Christina Janke
