Come watch young, hungry comedians do whatever it takes to entertain a concert hall full of drunk people waiting to be impressed.

Hosted by former Charleston comedian and morning radio personality Kenny Z, who now resides in NYC, The First Annual Charleston Stand-Up Competition will showcase undiscovered, and possibly undeserving, local talent.

It promises an evening full of laughs, and likely a few tears as well.

The competition could be the opportunity of a lifetime for one lucky jokester and perhaps your chance to witness the launch of comedy's next big thing.

Or it may be just another excuse for you to get loaded and heckle anyone within hearing range.

Either way, this promises to be a night you might actually remember.
