Featuring Luke Cunningham, routines from DanceFX, interactive booths from the Small Music Lab Mobile Classroom, and DIY painting from Bottles N Brushes, the fifth annual OPEN Arts Festival is a one-day-only celebration of Lowcountry art. “We are really excited about having new groups participating and performing. Groups like Charleston Supported Art, the Summerville Civic Ballet, and What If? Productions will all be in attendance. We can’t wait for everyone to meet these groups, as well as organizations they might already know,” says Lily Hunt, director of programs and operations for Alliance for the Arts. The Cistern Yard is the setting for this fest, and while you only have a few hours to catch it, it’ll have enough art to last at least a week.
