Opening This Week

Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (PG-13) Frances McDormand stars in this whimsical period romp as an English governess who gets fired and decides to live it up for a day before finding love in the most unexpected place. Also stars incomparable Amy Adams. Opens at the Terrace Theater on Friday.

College Road Trip (G) A promising freshman with loftly dreams checks out colleges with her overprotective dad (Martin Lawrence). Let's hope this one's better than Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins.

10,000 B.C. (PG-13) A young man from a secluded mountain tribe attempts to save his girlfriend from a kidnapper only to discover there are human civilizations far more advanced than he realized.

The Bank Job (R) Jason Statham stars in another caper flick, this time about the famed heist of Lloyd's of London in 1971.
