Pecha Kucha Charleston returns Wed. Oct. 21 for its fourth installment. The show-and-tell/open mike night/happy hour presentation has seen great success in progressive cities across the globe, Charleston included.
Organizers announced Tuesday the speaker line-up for PKN4. As usual, the event will feature an eclectic group of Charleston creatives. Each speaker will be given six minutes and 40 seconds, with a 20-image slideshow, to describe how they do what they do.
Presenters include Ken Hawkins of TheDigitel; Michael Gray, an artist and marching band expert; Mark Sloan of the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art; Bill Eubanks of Urban Edge Studio; Nate Lopes a.k.a. DJ NattyHeavy; Eunoo Yun of Charleston Academy of Music; Jim Martin of Charleston Parks Conservancy; artist and publisher Jonathan Miller; and Courtney Gunter, Amy Pastre, and Virginia Gregg of Sideshow Press. Brady Waggoner will emcee the event.
Keep checking back to the official Pecha Kucha Charleston site for more details and presenter bios.
