The hilarious story about the one man in the world looking for love, falls for the one woman in the world who just wants sex. Part of Piccolo Fringe at Piccolo Spoleto Festival.
This is not your grandkids comedy
The classic Charleston show is about a man who falls in love with a woman who gives him the best sex of his life, and then they break up. During the show, Theatre 99 vet John Brennan plays several different roles, including "The Banana."
The show is now twice as funny
You may have seen Banana Monologues before, but there's a new addition to the line-up in the form of Mary Kay Has a Posse improviser Camille Lowman. (Note the subtle name change.)
The show's star, John Brennan, has been named best local actor and comic by City Paper readers in the past. But last year, he left us all behind when he moved to New York. Local fans have surely missed his crazy antics, and will show up just to see him while he's in town.
Price: $16/advance, $15/door
