Dan Xeller, "Puerto Lopez Fishermen"

Every morning in Puerto Lopez, Ecuador fishermen gather their nets and get ready for the day. Dan captured the morning anticipation by including the dangling feet of locals in the background. The juxtaposition of the land and sea through the aqua blue truck and boat is divided by the human element. The judges liked the freshness of the blue, even though both foreground objects are weathered.
