After a 25-year hiatus, polo makes its triumphant return to tony Kiawah Island this Sunday (Sept. 20). The reception and pony showing begins at 2 p.m.The match begins at 3 on the sand featuring the prominent Limehouse brothers on one team. Brother Brad is a pro and Chip — a.k.a. Representative Limehouse of the S.C. Legislature — is coming out of retirement just for this event. Any polo exhibition needs a swank after-party, and this one is no exception. Heavy hors d'ouevres and live music courtesy of the East Coast Party Band will be provided. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Kiawah Island Natural Habitat Conservancy. Tickets are $60.
