When: Sat., Feb. 20, 3-7 p.m. 2016
Pork & Pearls, Windwood Family Services’ largest fundraiser of the year, features just what you think it might — a big ol’ fashioned pig and oyster roast. Guests will stroll the grand lawn of Volvo Cars Stadium (previously Family Circle Cup for anyone confused) where they can take in live music from 40 Mile Detour and the Louie D Project, as well as enjoy alcoholic bevs, and plenty of oysters and Jim ’N Nick’s barbecue. The kids can check out an array of activities in the kids’ zone like a jump castle and a petting zoo. A silent auction will offer items like a trip to Costa Rica, local paintings, and a stay on Edisto. Proceeds from the event benefit Windwood’s programs which provide educational and therapeutic interventions for struggling children and families in the Charleston area.
Price: $100/VIP, $40/day of, $35/adv.
