Princess Party

When: Sat., July 17, 9:30-11:30 a.m. 2010

Once upon a time, the Charleston Museum hosted a Princess Party, inviting all Lowcountry little ones to live out their childhood fantasies. Luckily, this isn’t a fairy tale. This Saturday, dress your little princess in her most enchanted outfit and bring her to the museum for a morning of regally fun activities at a party fit for royalty. From 9:30-11:30 a.m., guests will enjoy cupcakes and have their picture taken with a beautiful princess straight out of the stories. The little sovereigns will get to participate in all kinds of magical crafts, like painting Cinderella’s slipper, creating princess picture frames, and making their very own tiaras. Parents are also welcome to take their children to see the museum’s latest jewelry and wedding dress exhibits. Reservations are required for the party. And then you’ll live happily ever after. Until your daughter throws a tantrum when you treat her like a regular human being at home. —Kelly Smith
