Texas-based singer/songwriter Hubbard’s started playing as a folk singer in the late 1960s in his native Oklahoma before getting into the outlaw country scene of the ’70s. He's considered one of the most respected artists in the contemporary Americana scene. Hubbard's latest album, The Grifter’s Hymnal, was recorded at a home studio in Austin and at the Edythe Bates Old Chapel nearby. He and his band headline at 9 p.m. Local combo Hungry Monks play the deck at 5 p.m.
