Red Rose Vintage Grand Opening

When: Sun., March 13, 12-5 p.m. 2016

Amy Rose, Founder and CEO of Red Rose Vintage, hosts the grand opening of her mobile clothing store outside of Rec Room this weekend. The event is sponsored by PBR and the shop with be giving away free vintage PBR swag. Rose moved to Charleston in 2011 and since then she’s been chasing the dream of opening a storefront on King Street. With pricey rents and competition from big box stores, Rose found it difficult to find a space for a permanent store location. So, she decided to partner with her father Gary Rose, and purchase, gut, and completely remodel a 1976 Airstream RV which they call the Dreamstream. “This mobile vintage clothing store is more than a dream come true to me,” says Rose. “It is a dream come true for all of the females in Charleston that are tired of the bad quality of corporate fast fashion. And the lack of options of local boutiques downtown.” Keep an eye out folks — the Dreamstream and its specially curated brand of 80s vintage clothing, will be popping up at the Royal American and Tin Roof in the coming weeks, and is also available to rent for private parties.
