The Village Repertory Company invites you to rock out to the hits of country music legend Johnny Cash at this musical tribute, Red, White and Cash. The family-friendly performance will dish out all the classics, including patriotic tunes like “This Land is Your Land,” “Sea to Shining Sea,” and “America the Beautiful.” “While this is not a Johnny Cash ‘imitator’ kind of show, Red, White and Cash does tell his life story, through reminiscence and his music,” says Threshold Rep’s producing director Keely Enright. Performing in the tribute are Michael Easler and Dusty Bryant, Kathy Summer, Jenna Brinson, Jay Urban on the electric guitar, Brian McCreight on drums, Bart Saylor on banjo, and Robert Widlowski on bass. “This cast has worked together on various projects for more than 10 years. They have such wonderful chemistry, and such affection for Johnny’s story,” Enright said. “The audience leaves with the feeling they have just spend an evening with good friends.”
