Ever wondered how a T-shirt is screen-printed? You’ll have the chance to experience the process firsthand at Redux Contemporary Art Center’s membership celebration this weekend. Bring a shirt, bag, or piece of cloth and you can print it with whatever design you like. All attendees will be able to meet and hang out with some of the Redux artists in their studios, which hopefully will get your creative juices flowing for when you make your mark on the new mural on the outside of the building. Yep, that’s right, everyone gets to help with the mural for all of St. Philip Street to see. Limited-edition T-shirts will also be unveiled at the celebration. Be the first to check out the designs by Bunny Fox, Tony Csavas, Seth Gadsden, Conrad Guevara, Neve Inspired, and Ivy Williams. There is bound to be something for everyone. Only 35 shirts of each design will be printed so get ’em while they last. You’ll also have the chance to pre-order a new Redux hoodie that was designed by Mason Greenewald. The celebration is free and open to the public, so it’s a win-win. Complimentary drinks will be provided by Social Wine Bar, and food from the Taco Boy truck will also be available. Come out to support the arts and have a good time while you’re at it.
