With a voice that carries just as much grace as it does power, as much bravado as delicacy, Grammy award-winner Renée Fleming will take the Gaillard Stage Sat. Dec. 9. The Juilliard School alum is considered an ambassador of music and is one of the most highly regarded vocal talents of our time, even being awarded the National Medal of Arts by President Barack Obama in 2013, and was the first classical singer to perform the “Star Spangled Banner” at the Super Bowl in 2014. Talk about a wide audience! Recently, the world-class soprano has ventured into more multimedia platforms — one of which, “Sound Health: Music and the Mind,” will be exhibited at 1:30 p.m Fri., Dec. 8, also at the Gaillard Center.
